Frequently Asked Questions

1. What kind of projects does my donation support?

Your donation helps fund three main types of social projects in the most vulnerable areas of Peru, specifically in Lima, Arequipa, and Cusco:

  • Educational Projects: We build public libraries and offer after-school programs, with a special focus on reading comprehension for children and youth. We also support missionaries who provide education in these areas.
  • Social Projects: We assist in housing construction and provide food to soup kitchens, community pantries, and "Ollas Comunes" (common pots). We encourage child sponsorship to support children's education and nutrition. Additionally, we work with local veterinarians to provide aid to pets in these communities.
  • Volunteer Programs: Funds also support the logistics of our volunteer programs, which allow people from all over the world to work directly with our communities.

2. How can I become a volunteer?

To be an on-site volunteer, you must be at least 18 years old and willing to travel to the areas where we operate. The work involves providing direct support for our projects and living with the communities. If you can't travel, you can also be a virtual volunteer by helping us share our programs and news on social media, which helps us reach more people.

3. How can I be sure my donation is used transparently?

We are committed to full transparency. You can request a report on the benefits of your donation. With your permission, we can publish project results and updates on our website and social media. We protect the personal data of both donors and beneficiaries, but we will always keep you informed about the impact of your contribution.

4. Are donations tax-deductible?

Yes. In Peru, donations to our NGO are tax-deductible. You can deduct up to 10% of your annual income tax, according to Peruvian tax laws.

5. Are donors publicly recognized?

We are grateful to all our donors, and if you wish, we can publicly acknowledge your support. In the "Partners" section of our website, we can list your identity, brand, or a pseudonym. This will only be done with your explicit consent.

6. How can I contact you?

You can write to us using the form in our "Contact" section on the website. You can also send us a message via WhatsApp. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
